The hackathon incorporated a blend of informative lectures, hands-on workshops, and most importantly, a collaborative hacking competition. Participants formed teams, brainstormed innovative ideas, and then spent the bulk of the event developing functional blockchain-based applications. This approach fostered not only theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills and teamwork essential for success in the tech industry.
St. Eugene University's leadership in organizing this successful hackathon, along with the valuable collaboration of MIBT, Mzansi, and the ICU, signifies a collective commitment to empowering Zambia's youth with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital age. This collaborative effort positions Zambia to become a leader in the development and adoption of blockchain technology.
